John Brzezinski - Our Founder

John Brzezinski possessed great entrepreneurial spirit and had a vision to be an integral part of the automotive industry.

John completed a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Detroit in 1960. He then enrolled in a technical writing program offered by Chrysler Corporation and worked on the Redstone Missile project until completion.

Later, John worked for General Electric Defense in Syracuse, N.Y, as a writer, project manager and buyer. His duties included writing defense contracts, and negotiating terms with suppliers. During this time, he continued his education with many courses in electronics from the University of Wisconsin, and later through the masters program at Wayne State University.

In 1965, John moved back to his hometown in Michigan and worked for LTV for many years. Longing to own and operate his own business, John started freelance writing for the automotive OEM's in the Detroit area in 1974. After building his reputation as an outstanding technical writer of manuals and training programs, he officially started S & J Tech Data Service Company in 1976.

When electronics hit the automotive industry, John capitalized on the industry changes and began to seriously grow his business. In addition to writing service manuals, he began developing training programs to support automotive service technicians, calling on his extensive electronics background. After working on many training programs, he also recognized the need for quality instructors to deliver these programs, and TTi was formed.

John led the growth of his company with a genuine interest in all of his customers and especially his employees. He instilled in them his own vision of a company dedicated to values, integrity and quality, and a genuine love of the automotive industry. John passed away in 1992, at the age of 56. The foundation began by him still stands today, and has grown into a multi-national organization, called TTi. John's great entrepreneurial spirit lives on.
